Privacy

This page explains what the INTRARED website records when you visit it.

Privacy-first visit counts

The site is served through Cloudflare. Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first service, records the pages viewed, the referring website (the site whose link brought a visitor here), visitors’ browser, operating system, device type and country, and how fast pages load. It does not identify or track individual visitors: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not fingerprint visitors by their IP address or browser. Cloudflare does not sell this data or use it for advertising.

Google Analytics, only with your permission

If you choose Allow analytics cookies in the cookie banner, the site loads Google Analytics. It records the pages you view, the referring page (the page whose link brought you here), how you use them (such as scrolling and following links to other sites), your browser, operating system, screen size and language, and your approximate location. It sets two cookies, _ga and one whose name starts with _ga_, which hold a random identifier so that repeat visits can be told apart; they expire up to two years after your last visit, and some browsers delete them sooner. Google signals and ad personalisation are turned off. If you decline, or don’t answer, Google Analytics is not loaded. Google describes how it uses this data in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Changing your choice

The site remembers your answer for one year in a cookie named intrared_analytics_consent. To change it, use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page and choose again. Declining deletes the Google Analytics cookies.
